BEST FOOT FORWARD: VIETNAM’S NEW FOOTBRIDGE IS UNDOUBTABLY EPIC

Vietnam has just unveiled a new footbridge and whilst that might not seem newsworthy enough for a whole post, there’s one feature that has everyone talking. The ‘Golden Bridge’, located in Da Nang, is held up by two giant hands, resembling something out of Lord of the Rings. These giant hands look like they’ve been carved from stone, but in reality, the designers made skeletons of the hands, covered them in steel meshes and then finished with fibreglass. The entire construction of the150 metre walkway took about a year to build but judging by the influx of tourists, it seems the effort was worth it.
